You are asking like you are standing here and human existence is somewhere out there; and purpose is outside of yourself like you need to go out and find out.
Let's say somebody offers you a purpose and it doesn't go well with your instinct about it, will you ask for an evidence in order to scrutinize it further? How will you validate it?
Don't go after purpose as it is not separate from you, similarly humanity is not separate from you. Find your true self and such questions will dissolve.
