On our recent trip to Japan two days ago, we were stopping over Japan just for a few hours and one and only sightseeing destinations was to a zen temple, I was thinking to myself what an opportunity!!! as I had never been to a zen... anything, let alone to a zen temple in Japan and so I was quite excited and could not wait to take in the sight.
As we were making our way through the busy streets to the temple with the tour group, my wife said... we only have an hour before we need to get back to the bus, why don't we spend time tasting all these food at these local vendors and checking out all these little shops. Hearing this, I was woken up as if from a deep slumber. And I heard myself say... Yep! Zen! Fuck the temple.
