May be you can think of it this way... that he trying to teach the world how to fish instead of simply giving away the fish. The scratch will never go away until you examine your own relationship to money and not about Tolle's relationship to money. Spirituality does not mean one has to embrace poverty.
At any rate all this might seem like bulshit... You are conflicted because he said something wonderful that helped you and now you cannot accept he has few millions in his bank. May be you paid $10 for his book, was it worth the money for what you received?
Why imprison yourself for who he might be, you don't have to buy into everything about the man, you could be your own, make your own rules, forge your own way as you see fit.
